La Fornace
Perfect for families with children, the house is nestled in the Sienese hills along the famous Wine Road. It has two connected pools, one for swimming and a shallower one suitable for children. Ideal for those who bike and want to spend time in nature. Nearby are: Pienza, Siena, Perugia, Montalcino, and Arezzo. All rooms are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning. The house has parking available for guests.
The space
The house features a central open space area, with a living room, a table for 14 people, a guest bathroom, kitchen, pantry, and TV room. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, two have double beds, and there is a quadruple room with bunk beds ideal for children and teenagers. These last three bedrooms share two bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub. In the small house on the lawn, there is a dependency with a small living room, bathroom, and a large attic room with a magnificent view of the Val d'Orcia sunset.
Additional information
The villa has two connected pools, one for swimming and a shallower one suitable for children. Outdoors, it offers 6 single sun loungers and 1 double sun lounger (Uno più model in teak wood), and 2 small sitting areas. Under the pergola, there is a large table for outdoor dining.
The facilities include Ping Pong, foosball, a swing, barbecue, an elliptical machine for exercising, a wood-fired oven, and a standard oven.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, stand mixer for cooking, blender, ice maker, and a large fridge.
For those interested, there is a fully equipped brick wood-fired oven for baking bread and pizza, but upon request, we can also arrange for a professional pizza chef ;-)
All rooms are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning. On the ground floor, there is an underfloor cooling panel system that keeps the indoor temperature pleasant even in summer, provided that doors and windows are kept closed.
